Boryeong Mud Festival
Saturday I went to Daecheon Beach where they held the 10th annual Boryeong Mud Festival. This was designated as the best festival to attend by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It took 2 hours to get there, and only stayed for a few hours, but I wish I could have stayed more. It felt excitingly dirty to get covered up in mud. The most expensive thing about the trip was dinner, when we had 조개구이 (grilled seafood) ~30,000 KRW. You'd imagine seafood would be a LOT cheaper than that. Bus fare was only like 8,000 KRW.
